Kelleigh Kelderman
Kelleigh Kelderman is a jazz vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, having grown up in a musical family and started her musical education at the tender age of 6. Although she enjoys playing many different instruments, her passion is singing and she is currently completing her Postgraduate Diploma at UCT under Amanda Tiffin.
Besides her teacher, she draws inspiration from a wide range of musicians including Amy Walton, Ella Fitzgerald, Nicky Schrire, Sade Ross, Monique Hellenberg, Rebecca Smith and many others. This enthusiasm and dedication to her craft has resulted in performances with numerous bands and choirs as featured artist and soloist throughout her career. She is a regular participant in many local festivals, competitions and shows as a performer as well as in a coaching capacity, alongside legends such as Marc Lottering, David Isaacs and Didi Moses. As an experienced educator, Kelleigh heads up the Pinelands Primary School music department, while also teaching for the Beau Soleil Music and Development Trust on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings. She is our senior theory and aural teacher at Ifidyoli, and is also introducing keyboard skills to our FET candidates in order to further nurture their all-round musicality.
